2021 TRD Offroad - Super White
    Hello everyone,
Long time lurker and just recently purchased a '21 DCSB TRD Offroad and have been wanting to mildly build it. Just picked her up today from the dealership after having the OEM TRD lift/package installed with Method 701's and 275/70/17 Falken AT3W load range C. Figured I'd finally create my introduction and post some pictures before and after to help anyone else considering the Toyota lift. So far the ride quality seems to be smoother however this was expected on the short drive home with the takeoff wheels/tires and parts loaded in the bed.

Are you able to use your fog lights with this lift kit?

There's another thread here with a list on components. New shocks front/rear but reused the coils up front with a 1" spacer in the back. @Lmad928 I was able to retain the fog lights its optional to remove or not, I did upgrade the fogs to KC Hilites though. I've also added the SPC UCA's after the install of the lift to remedy bump steer and give myself peace of mind about the front end being dialed in, caster came back at 2.7 both sides. I've also changed the mud guards to Rekgen's mudguards and tires slightly rub on them when turning and hitting a bump, I'm sure the heatgun reforming will remedy this as it's not much. Truck has been on two hunting trips and plenty of offroading here in Colorado. The shocks seem to ride better in town and also improve offroad comfort with some speed.

Thank you for the information!! That was very helpful! Would you mind exposing what “SPC UCA’s” are? I’m not very well rounded in mechanical haha. My dealer was able to secure me a 21 TRD Off-road in the Army Green and I just put a deposit down on my OEM lift kit yesterday. Should have the truck in less than a month and a half

@Lmad928 Congrats man! The army green in the exact same setup is what I was after and ended up losing it to someone that worked at the dealership, but I'm a sucker for white vehicles so it worked out. The SPC UCA's are Upper Control Arms, the company SPC makes an adjustable component of your trucks suspension that is great for dialing in the alignment after lifting the vehicle.

I've got the Bilstein 5100 Lift, which is similar to the TRD lift. I get 37" all around under my black wheel well fenders. This is including my 265/75/16 tires.

    What do you guys get?

None to date, but haven't had the opportunity to take it on any trails yet. The wheels are the 17" TRD Pro wheels

Those wheels are what I wanted but after reading the thread on this forum about them not fitting the back, I have shied away. I don't do any trails, only commuting and driving through pastures, etc; good info to know.

Now that you've had a chance to drive a couple more weeks, have you noticed any rubbing?

I have a 2022 Army Green Tacoma TRD Off-Road arriving on lot in 2 weeks. My dealer is installing the OEM Lift Kit (2in - front, 1in - rear). I also was able to find a set of Stealth Custom Series Ray 10's in a size 17x8.5 -10mm offset wheels that I am going to put on after receiving the truck. I would like to put on BFGoodrich KO2 tires on these wheels but was wondering if anyone would be able to help suggest a size? I don't want anything crazy big on the wheels but something that'll beef up the look. Also was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions/information on what additional mods I may need to make with adding the SCS Ray 10 wheels and beefier KO2 tires? Would it have been smarter to go with a 16in wheel instead of the 17in? Maybe some pros and cons? Is this mod going to change anything drastically? Thanks for the help!

Looks really good. How long did install take and what did dealer charge OTD?
