2021 TRD PRO ..... White or Lunar Rock?

LOL! Some of these descriptions are great. I think Minty Diarrhea wins it. I was Super White all the way, just because I always buy white vehicles. I liked LR, but still was leaning toward the White. Ultimately I thought since it was a PRO, I wanted it to stand out a bit and go with the "Marquis" color. They are all nice trucks either way.

 

I learned to ride on one of these and an ST90. They were brand new then, auto clutch if I recall. They were ugly and still are, but that one is incredibly mint condition vintage bike.

 

Heeeeey. CT 70. My next door neighbor had one of those when I was a kid.. We use to ride around the yards on that thing. Still see them on craigslist once in a while.

 

Lunar rock is my vote!

 

They've been rolling in since October, lol. But I would vote LR if between those two and this is from a guy who had 3 super whites (15, 17 and 19). SW is a single stage paint and I just never felt like it would stand the test of time, there are a few threads dedicated to issues with the color and Toyota has included it in a campaign. SW has also been offered on the PRO for every 3rd gen year since 17 and 15 Pros, its just not that unique, if you want to say you have the one year of a color PRO than LR is where its at. I like LR in some lights, but in others its way too minty, still a cool color, just not for me. Good luck with your choice.

 

Truck looks great! But, my favorite part of this pic has to be the doggo spotter in the back!

 

I'd go white. It's classic and looks good with the Pro add ons and contrasting black accents.

 

To me LR looks good on the RAV4 but not the Tacoma.
Just me though.

It's too bad that none of the Pro colors stand out for more than a year or so...I can tell you I am not looking forward to seeing that many Tacomas in the Lunar Rock color on the road in 2022 and beyond when they make it a standard color. I am not a fan of the mint green part of the color wheel...

And there's a white pro in my hood and it looks sharp, even my kids are like dad that white pro looks sweet can't comment on the lr as I haven't seen one in person.

 

Super White. High visibility to other motorists, never goes out of style and you get that awesome Storm Trooper contrast between the black and white.

 

Drove up to NC last night to get this. Still a little frosty out this morning. Seeing the Lunar Rock in the day and the night, I know I made the right decision. Side note- Sitting in the driveway, out of the pic, happen to be my two 4Runners, both in Super White.

 

You will not go wrong either way. Personally I like Lunar Rock, note this is coming from a guy with a white truck.

Take this with a grain of salt given that I also like Quicksand, the color that my wife thinks looks like vomit. In her experience people apparently vomit up desert colors. But anyway.

 

And worth about 10k.

 

lunar rock looks killer as a pro. conversely, it doesnt look great on the rav. next year its gonna take a few mods to make lunar rock pop on a sport or offroad. with all that being said i would go lunar rock.
