2021 TRD Sport - Figured out how to turn off door lock beeps!

Traded in my 09 Sport for a 21 Sport yesterday and forgot how annoying the door lock beeps and having the click the remote twice to unlock all the doors was since I had a Viper remote start installed on the 2009.

Started searching the forums and was real close to purchasing a Carista module to make the changes to turn the annoying beeps off.

I have the JBL system (don't know if this matters)
1. Start the truck
2. Menu -> Settings -> Scroll down then click Vehicle -> Vehicle customization and you have the ability to reduce the volume of the beeps to 0 and single press unlock for all the doors. Quite a few settings in there that I thought only the dealership or a Carista type module could change.

Maybe this is available on other models and since I didn't see any info on this online I figured I'd share. Or maybe this is common knowledge and I'm late to the game.

 

Why would you get annoyed at the beeps?

 

Because when I leave at 5am it sounds 100 times louder than it is . Like being quiet for the neighbors .

Yes. There are a lot in the H/U already. The biggies are in Carista / TechStream though. Seat belt chimes, turn signal flashes, and TPMS sensor IDs. And, the worst on has no programmable solution. The key in chime.
