Fair point. I assumed they'd use the electric motor from the power assist on other cars for the vibration. But that doesn't really make sense... they do however use the electric motor to correct the steering inputs and can't do that with ours.

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
It's not bean counting, but boy is it close:

For more than 20 years, Northwestern University researchers received National Institutes of Health money to watch hamster fights. The project reportedly received more than $3 million over the course of the project and $306,000 in 2015 alone. Some of those experiments involved injecting hamsters with steroids, then putting another hamster in the cage to see if the drugged rodents were more aggressive when protecting their territory. Others investigated whether becoming a “trained fighter” through two weeks of face-offs made the critters more aggressive. The experiments stopped after animal activists pressured the lab to cut the program.

I have a few hundred cd’s laying around the house too. Need a good yard sale to get rid of them. Maybe I’ll just toss em actually. Haven’t listened to a single one since I got ITunes.

They should put it on Pay Per View - like MMA for hamsters.

The ones that seem like snowflakes are the ones that take personal offense that someone has an issue or issues with the same truck that they own. I can only guess as to the reasons why, but they sure like to jump in these threads to let it be known that they're driving god's chariot aka the 3rd gen Tacoma.

I guess this stuff happens when people build their self-worth around a vehicle brand.

Mine was set up like that too when I bought it and I didn't care for it either. Yes, you can go into the settings and disable that.

Yeah I have to agree with you. Not so much a brand, but just the vehicle. It's nice to mod your vehicle, but damn, some people only have this vehicle, it is the first thing of consequence that they have owned in their lives, and it becomes the be all/end all path to happiness. Kinda like Serge's avatar! (She has a point.) His avatar is in gest, but you know there's some people on here that it rings true for. That is sad. There is more to life than this truck we own. Buy a house. Or go buy a boat, develop some alternative interests people, and some well-needed perspective. Get off this forum and that computer. Do something. Life is short.

I'll agree... to a point. I had a couple 3rd gens... were they perfect? No, but I knew that going in because I researched and test drive test drive test drive.
I find it quite strange when people make "wish" threads and bitch about what they just bought, knowing that a simple test drive would have pointed out these shortcomings.
It seems that a lot of people buy on emotion instead of fact and these are the people who need to learn something today.

I was so disappointed when I found out my truck didn’t come with a jacuzzi option for the bed. I know, I know, my bad for assuming that should just come with it because I want it to, but I just didn’t even think to check during my test drive, and here I am now, sitting back there with no jets and it doesn’t even hold water, much less heat it up! WTH?? Corporate was so rude to me too, they just dismissed my concerns.

    Couple peeves:
    • Why not 48” in bed between wheel wells, after all it’s a TRUCK!
    • Shin catcher where dash bumps out on driver side; have literally gashed my shin several x on it to point I’m now cautious how I enter.
    • QI charger that actually f@$g works or get rid of altogether.
    • Definitely locking tailgate factory.
    • Factory gun rack in rear window…..just f@ng kidding, wait am I?
For price we give Yo-yo these seem like no brainers.

it's amazing to me the number of people that apparently want their car to make MORE noises. between navigation, speed and hazard warnings, and my radar detector, the last thing i want is another gd beeping noise when i'm in the middle of negotiating a traffic interchange. i feel like my vehicles are yelling at me all the time as it is.

48" is a real possibility without making the truck wider.

LOL - I thought I was the only one that happened to. I had a little gastric situation going and I opened what I call the "vent" window. In 2 seconds I was in vortex of pine bark, sand, and hydrogen sulfide. Good Times!
