Update:12-8 Called Toyota and got the runaround from a couple of different people. I finally talked to someone who is sending out the documents once again they stated it is usually within 30 days. We will see if I get them soon. I wanted confirmation that it was processed as my 3 years were up in November.

There's should be no runaround if you called the right number.

I am doing the Geico Mechanical Breakdown Insurance. It is around $10 every 6 months. It has a $250 deductible and can last out to 7 years 100,000 miles. I have never used it so I can't say how good or bad it is.

What is Mechanical Breakdown Insurance (MBI)?
Mechanical Breakdown Insurance covers many mechanical repairs to your car, protecting you from expensive repair bills. This coverage is only available for vehicles with less than 15,000 miles that have been purchased within the last 15 months. A $250 deductible per claim applies. Mechanical Breakdown Insurance is similar to a dealer's extended warranty protection. It's in excess of coverage provided by the manufacturer's warranty.
Mechanical Breakdown Insurance covers repairs to the following systems:
    Engine
    Steering
    Air Conditioning
    Transmission
    Cooling
    Brakes
    Drive Axle
    Suspension
    Electrical
EXCLUSIONS: MBI does not include regular maintenance services such as tune-ups, suspension alignment, wheel balancing, filters, lubrication, coolant and fluids, spark plugs, brake pads and lining, brake shoes and tires (includes tire wear and/or tire damage). Breakdown repairs made necessary by intentional damage, rust and oxidation, misuse, or improper maintenance are not covered. Mechanical Breakdown coverage is in excess of coverage provided by the manufacturer's warranty.

Jennifer is at Lexus now, have a new contact. The prices are still pretty good and Ian was great to work with.

Funny I tried to get in touch with Ian after 5 days I gave up and contacted Jerry Johnson at Midwest toyota-ford. When Ian finally replied he said pricing had increased. Jerry honored the previous known pricing. When I inquired with Jerry he literally called me 5 minutes after my email, excellent customer service.

^I used Jennifer for my 2018 4Runner for a 10 year, as the price was excellent. My local dealer wouldn't even offer a 10 year at the time. However, the 4Runner is so well built I'll probably never use it.

I got a good laugh at my local dealer when the business manger just put his hands up in the air. Told him the pricing he played coy and I said you've must've heard of this pricing from other people? I wasn't born yesterday. He wasn't even in the ballpark with the price.

I'm waiting on a quote for a platinum extended warranty from a Toyota dealer locally. They're adding a maintenance plan now as a bundle. 55k miles/60 months at $600 extra. Have you guys heard of this? They say because there's no markup on warranty plans like the other dealers.

I told him not to include the maintenance package to me that's just a rip off driven. look at this so the cheapest one retail dealer is 2,145? Prices have gone up that much for platinum?

Damn I wonder how much powertrain only would cost. I really want to buy the powertrain only but I don't want to bother them since I'm not ready to buy yet.

There's definitely a markup on it, however if you're good with the VSA price just call TFS and cancel the ppm plan within 30 days.

They started at 3k for my ‘23 OR. Got them down to $1900 for the 10/125k. I’m ok with that lottery. I laughed at the $1200 they wanted for the maintenance plan. Those are some expensive oil changes.

6/75 and paid retail 2,145 for Toyota platinum vsa. I guess I need to learn how to haggle better. It must be a lot cheaper back East. They want 3,295 retail for that 10/125 plan here in Arizona.

Is 1,900 for the VSA agreement? Yeah I said no thank you for the maintenance package.

He told me normally it's a bundle but he was being nice and removed it?
