2022 fog light bulb replacement

was wondering if anyone was able to switch out the bulbs on the new tacoma fog lights or if you have to replace the housing entirely. 2022s fog light housing is completely different than previous models

 

Crap ! I hope they mount the same as previous. Just ordered all the parts to add fogs to my 22 sr

 

Any H11 bulb will fit, assuming you have standard fog not led.

 

i bought a h11 bulb to replacement the bulb for amber but couldn’t even get it out of the housing, i only could unplug it

 

Can you post some pics of the fogs? Looks exactly the same from the outside idk why Toyota would change the fog design that they've been using since like 2010..

Same fogs since 2012, far as I know. Unless you have the factory LED fogs, like @drizzoh mentioned.

 

and used the same one across Tacoma, 4Runner and Tundra (pre 2022*)

 

If you got LED fog lights then the only way to replace the bulb is to take it all apart and solder new LED chip to the board... not a easy task for most people.

If you got halogen fog lights then the bulb replaces as normal.

 

My 2018 had H11 fogs, but my 2020 has H16. You might need H16...
Either way you still turn CCW to remove, CW to install.
