Remember when Aston copied RB? Commentators had a field day. "Oh here comes the Green Red Bull. And then the actual Red Bull."

 

I hadn’t switched from YouTube tv at that time yet, but even they pointed out the green Red Bull cans and poked some fun…which was surprising

 

So Toto is skipping Japan this weekend. That will make for some great speculation & rumors....if I can help.

Also read that while Toto was telling everyone he could find about the egregious violations from Red Bull, it turns out that Ferrari are concerned that they might get sited for a budget cap violation. Can't wait for Wednesday!

 

I watched quali, pre-race and race on ESPN (Sky) and did not hear a single word about spending caps.

 

So glad that I pay for an iptv service that has the sky sports f1 channel, instead of having to watch it on ESPN.

 

I mean I use F1 tv which is good except for Will Buxton. Otherwise I like that I can go to the in car cams at will and other tech data.

 

The FIA has announced there will be a delay in issuing the Certificates of Compliance

My point was that the total lack of budget cap mentions was probably intentional.

Good. I want to watch a race not hear about budget caps. Give me tech info about the cars not budget stuff.

 

Can we cut the prerace walk and talk junk? I know it is just me.

 

They all call it the 'Pre Race 'Show'. All hyperbole for ratings.

 

When I don't want to watch the pre or post-race shows , I just watch the race

Yeah. When I record Japan I will do that.

 

Or maybe to avoid bad news to Honda on what could be a big weekend.

 

F1 to test a different tyre format during qualifying…

I think this format will enable the top teams to always get though to Q3 where as currently for example Williams chooses to burn a set of softs in Q1 it offers them a better chance to get through to Q2 if other teams were to choose a medium.
