We used to throw our camping gear in the car and spend the F1 weekend at Watkins Glen. It was a pretty cheap way to go, until the rowdies burned the place down.

Oh it’s definitely a cash cow spectacle, but that’s been F1 for years at certain events. That being said, COTA general admission is less than $200 for the weekend if I remember correctly. Plus they added grandstands this year to increase attendance/income without the price being through the roof. It has gone up over the years though, general admission in 2018 was like $150 for both my wife and I for the weekend…

Sky Sports has great F1 coverage. You just have to remember it's a British broadcast, and they have a British driver bias. They try to be objective, but all of them have a UK driver bias. You can see that from their comments, such as "why doesn't Red Bull hire Danny Ricardo," and "Will Max let Checo win the Mexican GP?" Why didn't they ask if Lewis would let Bottas win his home GP, or why didn't Mercedes hire DR this year?

You can also see them react to infractions. If it's a British driver, they often say it was a driving incident (unless it was massively blatant), where they seem to call it as it is for drivers from anywhere else...lol

IIWII, so as long as you realize their bias, you can enjoy their broadcast.

Because they never raced in Finland

Because they have George and DR has had several shit years, heck McLaren are paying him Millions to leave.

A race in the snow would be pretty cool though.

I am a member of the F1 Group on Facebook. I get ads and e-mails every week for products that I can't afford or would never buy even if I could afford them. ONLY $320,000 for the Richard Mille watch that was robbed from Leclerc...
