Don't see why that won't work assuming they do a good job with the displays.

 

I’d have thought when approaching a corner during a F1 race you would be paying attention to the braking point, corner apex, overtaking the guy in front and worrying about the guy behind… typically not watching a screen and worrying about what’s happening after the corner.

Relying on the drivers to watch a screen to try to make the track safer seems a bit weak to me.

 

Just side ranting about F1tv, I was watching the pre-race show and the broadcast ends and doesnt switch over automatically. I had the pre-race show minimized and was just listening to the commentary. Took me a second to realize I was still on the pre-race broadcast and I switched over just as the last car lines up for race start. Its not a big deal but id be annoyed if I missed the race start from something like that.

 

Can't wait to see the price on those tickets after seeing the Miami prices

Yeh i don't like that either. It's should just auto start the race. They record those segments separately so I think that's why the switch it necessary.

Probably just a glance much like checking their mirrors and informatiinal pit boards.
