That Fake Water is too much...yet totally on point for Miami/Dade

Use to live just N in Broward - do not miss it at all - the fakeness, the "keeping up with the jones's" mentality, everybody 'spending' $$ like they actually have it in the bank

Oh and the zero/lot/line homes... b/c you know you can jack the taxable value of homes by making them 'bigger' and basically touching the neighbor's house; one municipality [probably more] mandated the homes take up 80% of the lot size just so they could rake in more property tax $$ -
Even the gov/t is in on the scammy shit..


Not to knock the race itself, should be interesting - def. gonna watch it from my house, far/far away

 

They're interested in the upcoming engine spec. Porsche is looking just to build engines; Audi appears to want to become a 'constructor' so they can put their engines in an Audi-badged chassis.

I am constantly amused by just how much German companies are willing to pay for English F1 technology. At least with these entries perhaps there will be some actual German content.

 

Watching the 1990 Phoenix race. Oh how some things have changed…

- Most of the cars have one title sponsor, not a million.

- There was still a huge design variant in respect to side pod designs.

- Flags are hardly used and marshals will stand on the track with the crashed car and wave full speed racing cars around.

- Engines blow in spectacular fashion

- They did have on board cameras!

- They could choose not only what tire compound but also tire producer, Goodyear, Pirelli etc.

- Not one penalty was given out.

- Senna fights back from 10 seconds behind Alessi to make a 17 second gap and then cruise to the line for a win.

- V10’s & V12’s

- Murray

I love watching old races and am thankful for F1tv so I can even watch races whilst traveling…

 

Flat Earthers vindicated at Miami GP

 

If you like that watch a docu called Weekend of a Champion. It follows Jackie Stewart during the 1972 Monaco GP. Just how much F1 has changed since I was a kid is really shocking.

 

The fake yacht club is dumb as hell but mad props to the marketing guy who got the boat dealer to donate or pay for those boats to be on display.

 

For a second it looked cool but yeh, now the more I see of it, it's fu@king stupid.

This will not do at all! I am used to waking up Sunday morning and having a race spooled up on the DVR. I can't wait until the afternoon and have to watch it live. What is this heresy!?

I've seen a bunch of people on Twitter (not big F1 fans) freaking out about how cool the yacht club is. I don't think the realize it's fake
