Can Sainz actually drive?

 

Sainz can’t drive in a crowd. He’s probably the weakest driver of the top 3 teams.

As entertaining as a pace car in Monaco

Haha ya I’m critical of these obsolete tracks. You won’t see me here next week for Monaco so no worries there. The remaining tracks after Canada are much better circuits.

 

Sainz found luck for one race it seems and then immediately lost it on the next race.

 

I expected Sainz to come in and be like a Bottas for the team playing the good wingman and consistently deliver solid points and maybe the occasional win. So far he’s consistently seen the gravel so it will be interesting how the rest of the season goes.

 

Announcer paraphrase of the day ......looks like we have a Ferrari going really slow......

 

So tired of fanboy Buxton. Driver of the race for a guy who wanted to retire the car. A driver whose engineer said, "no. there are points to be had". Really? Meanwhile a low-maintenance driver puts his head down and finishes on the podium. The engineer for car 44 should be driver of the race. Ha!

For sure that will throw a wrench in the race. Let it be so. Bummer for Charles but now the championship race is on big time.

 

Definitely interesting from the perspective of wind gusts and reliability winning/losing the race, instead of actual racing.

Guess that also falls into the "duhhhh" category though...

 

Nah I don't care, I just stay away from things if I don't want anything to be spoiled.

 

As do I. I’ll usually avoid any social media concerning races/sports until I’ve watched.
