2022 Formula 1 Season Paddock

They both pushed eachother so I say it was just racing. Cant get involved in everything

 

To me it was clear pushing off the track. But to each their own.

 

Best racing of the year as far as I am concerned.

 

Other than lap one that was probably the best race I’ve seen in a while. Glad the stewards didn’t get involved and let the drivers race.

 

I am still a little confused with RUS. Seemed like he had a clean car but still got pushed out of the race.

 

Just seems better because most of the previous races have been shitty street circuits.

 

The car has to return to the pit lane under its own power. The driver is also not allowed to get out of the car, even though he did it for a very good reason.

Bravo Carlos, more bad fortune for Charles. Charles did a great job considering he was on used hard tires and the others up front all had fresh softs. Did you see him getting dressed down at the end by Binotto? Great racing at the end for sure.

 

Now THAT was a race.

 

I thought this was pretty cool. Vettel buys Mansell's winning car from 1992, fills it up with 'carbon neutral' fuel, and takes a lap at Silverstone before yesterday's race.

 

One thing that kinda got lost in the shuffle yesterday was that the roll hoop on Zhou's Alfa Romeo came dislodged during his upside-down skid across the track before entering the gravel trap , that is never supposed to happen .

It was pretty good. Hopefully it will not be ruined by post-race penalties. Let them race.

Surprised nobody mentioned the protesters that got on the track and were sitting on the Wellington Straight during Lap 1 , would have been roadkill if there hadn't been the Red Flag

Yes, thankfully no one was hurt. I don’t think there was much publicity about it at the time as they likely didn’t want to glorify them or give them the air time that the protestors wanted.

So much went on with the race I had forgot about it!

 

Yey… just booked tickets back home to Blighty to see family.

Have only been back once in the past 11 years and Murphy’s law I now choose to visit during the summer F1 break, no watching F1 in the pub for me
