Thoughts on ALO to Aston? Then Piastri to Alpine, makes the most sense for Alpine or else Piastri will be 2 or more years removed from driving

 

I doubt Alpine wants to get rid of Alonso due to his ability to develop cars, be a mentor, and probably more importantly he has a huge number of fans which helps them attract sponsorship dollars. Piastri isn't the first talented, deserving, kid to come up through the ranks and he won't be the last one in the pipeline.

 

Anyone watch the FP1 & 2 yet? The Vettel tributes from other drivers was odd...to me. It almost seemed like he would not be back after the Summer break.

 

Hoping the Haas guys can unlock something great in the new package. This is an odd place to premier it. Almost like bringing a new car to Monaco....almost.
