So it seems only HAAS and Williams are left. Wonder what McLaren are gonna do with RIC, short of getting Colton Herta who else could they get? De Vries I think gets Latifi's spot unless RIC goes there and maybe Schumacher stays at HAAS depending on his season going forward

Ricciardo is one of my favorites but his stock is going down by the week. He may not even have a seat in F1 next year.

 

I like Ricciardo too , was at the Canadian GP for his first win in 2014 but nobody is going to retain their seat when the finish 10 places behind their teammate in the same car every weekend

Is Piastri really holding out for a shot at Mclaren? Clearly he is exceptionally talented since in only three years he was the Formula Renault, F2, and F3 championships. And you know he wants to race having sat out the 2022 season. Can he actually have the Mt Everest size balls to snub Alpine who brought him to the dance in the first place?

 

Could be a contractual thing that is forcing him to do this. Not often a team would announce a move before the deal is done…

 

Multi 21 Seb , Multi 21 is his manager , he's been trying to get McLaren to replace Ricciardo with Piastri for months

 

Piastri is currently under contract by Alpine as their reserve driver
