2022 NASCAR THREAD

Those two cars are the only two that were caught simply because they finished 1, 2. For all we know, the 19, 20, 23, and 45 all had the same thing. As they also said, it was a change in their build process which was not vetted within the organization and they acknowledge it is against the rules.

 

Okay man. At this point it’s just emotion and a difference of opinion. If you believe it did not give an advantage then cool. My opinion on the matter is pointless. We move on. Off to a shitty road course this weekend! LOL

My if Kurt does not make it back this week I am a little excited to see what Ty might be able to do on the road course. I hope Kurt’s alright but it would be cool to see what the rookie can do.

 

Lets see what the NASCAR testing says later on this week. They might get jammed up more if they find anything additional. Points could be deducted and possibly be removed from competing in playoffs all together.

 

Newest reports say Kyle Busch to the Haas #41. Custer out and likely back to Xfinity in the #07.

Reports say Kurt's concussion was compounded from three previous hits this season. I'm sure he wants to come back and finish out the year but he should consult Dale Jr about the risks.

That could be a possibility in the future. The breakdown for SHR is like this:

#4 Company Car, Tony & Gene fund this one equally
#14 Tony's Car, Gene has no say in the day-to-day operations of this team
#41 Gene's Car, Tony has no say in the day-to-day operations of this team
#10 R&D/Pay Driver, this one brings in funding that helps the other teams

I honestly wonder if Kurt does not have something else going on. He has looked odd all year. He has not gained weight but his face looks like he gained 50lbs.

 

If he tries running over drivers Sunday, like he has a tendency to do, he won't finish the race, that's what I'm hoping for anyways.

 

it's all part of the JGR plan. He's a much bigger get than KB. I'm a huge KB fan but there are much better performing drivers out there that are younger, talented and don't demand a $20 - $30M a year salary. Ty will do well in the Cup Series.
