You know, this guy has a point!

 

Chase is pretty humble all things considered.

 

So is everyone else

 

Not necessarily, but he does drive with a chip on his shoulder and, especially early in his career, acted like the world owed him something. Then suddenly it was an issue with Ty Gibbs was given the same opportunity Chase was, and that's was before his controversial driving. Ty has also begun to settle down, as has been pointed out by several other people in various comment sections who say they're starting to root for him again now that he's settling down.

 

I do not agree. Chase has always been a clean driver. Finished 2nd 6 times before he won. I mean he is a champion in xfinity and spotted his competitors the field when he won the title in cup. At some point you might just have to admit he is a little better than average. I mean Kyle Petty didn’t exactly have those stats!
Chase didn’t drive through people to accomplish that. If anything he did it in spite of being run over. You are one emotional cat man! LOL…

 

Lol, you guys are dicks. And you are just getting people wound up because you don’t want to go visit your driver in the nursing home.

 

I am not a fan of Ty Gibbs at all. HOWEVER, that MF can wheel a car. He is still a prick, and spoiled but he is learning and I can’t hate on someone because they were born into some opportunity. He gonna be good for a long time.

 

See? We view it differently. But I never said he couldn't drive. He has a lot of great years ahead of him. But I don't care for him. And much like Kyle Busch to Kyle Busch fans, Chase really can't do any wrong.

 

I tend to think I am pretty level headed regarding calling out people I am fans of but I do see the bias. Typically those arguments can quickly be put to bed with the lack of evidence supporting one’s side or opinion. To each his own. I try to look at different aspects and not let my emotions dictate my views but everyone has a different method and at times I am lead by my heart. That’s why I have been banging the same woman for the last 20 years!

Ty Gibbs reminds me of Russ Wheeler. Nice guy when everyone is looking.

 

Some of these drivers, the 1 and ty specifically, there will never be another Dale Sr, so they need to stop trying.

 

A lot of the new guys are pretty grounded and humble. Chase, Ryan. Both the SHR guys. Bell etc. Then you have the entitled like Austin, Noah, Ty, Hunter to a point. That’s the difference to me.

 

People need to listen to the stories that Rusty tells about Dale Sr. He was a total asshole to anyone he didn’t like and even to his closest friends at times. But then he would go way out of his way for you at times also. A very complicated man and one who will never be duplicated.

 

We all do, just like we all tend to see the glass half empty with guys we don't care for even though we also like to think of ourselves as level headed. I can respect Chase for saying he doesn't feel like he won and he doesn't want the trophy, but that doesn't mean I like him. On the reverse side, my driver is a total asshole, but he's pretty much all business to his detriment sometimes.

 

Well I mean Kyle has 20 plus years of proving he is just a complete asshole though he is talented and Chase just does his job but it’s a perspective I guess. LOL…

 

I will say, it would bring things full circle if Busch signed on as a Jr Motorsports driver next year. It would be very interesting watching Jr nation too.
