I could see Rick putting him in the 48. Would be a good measuring stick for the younger 3 drivers. HMS can pay him and I mean he has at least 5 years left in him. And Rick likes to stir shit up.

I can see him running that full time for a season or two after he's done with cup just to try and get the championship in that series too.

 

Yeah, but there's speculation (however outlandish) that RCR could can him a year early.

 

I am aware but I if HMS decides to move on from Bowman HMS will not have a problem buying him out. I doubt and hope it does not happen but they do have the resources.

 

I don't follow Hendrick rumors that closely, but I'd imagine they'd want to get rid of Byron before Bowman.
