    I started doing yardwork right before the race started. Pruned trees, mowed front & back, trimmed edges, moved rocks, blew off driveway, cooked & ate supper, showered, shaved and still sat down to catch the last 50 brutal laps.

    I lost count. Was it 19 cautions? Red flag, 97* temps? Brutal day the teams won’t forget soon enough.

    Yet again, a non-playoff driver wins the race. Gotta be my favorite element of this year’s playoff. Hoping the weather holds off next weekend as I’m headed to Dega.
