Reading a news feed this morning over driver complaining of safety concerns of the NextGen . Drivers are saying this robotic crash test data from earlier this year at Talladega are not accurate and would cause more significant trauma than originally documented

Cup teams should just show up with Xfinity series cars painted and ready to go.

 

I do not see how they can fix this design. They essentially made the cars skateboard's with bodies dropped on them. Even the flat underbelly is carbon fiber and stiffens the car way to much.

On the one year anniversary of Let’s Go Brandon, Brandon Brown was looking real stout but I think he dropped a cylinder here in the last ten laps. His car sounds ROUGH.

Let’s Go Brandon

 

Like I said before, Xfinity has had composite bodies for a few years and have been even running faster speeds than cup for some races. There's something that can be done because Xfinity doesn't have these issues. I find it hard to believe that the under body would be the sole reason, but I'm sure you're right in that it adds stiffness.
