All he needs to do is qualify well since passing is difficult there, now.

I’m more concerned with him hitting the wall, catching on fire or flat getting dumped like yesterday.

MWR would not have been fined in this day and age.

I dunno. Briscoe and Larson were tied before he passed Dillon, Custer and whoever else it was. Briscoe had the tie breaker. Larson was a laps down with nobody else he could have passed.

    Interesting tidbits today:

RCR released Reddick early. 23XL bought out the final year. link
My editorial: Given the charter situation, this looks like Kurt is done or he may go to a part-time R&D car for 23XL.

Dodge has been in talks with NASCAR and specifically RFK about returning. NASCAR says talks have stalled. link
My editorial: It would make sense to connect with Brad K. He won Dodge their last Cup championship and his family are longtime Mopar folks. Dodge now says they have no interest in expanding their motorsports efforts and will concentrate on NHRA for the time being.

I think the Tyler thing was a given, even with the BS that RCR said at the press conference announcing KB to the 8 in 2023.

This is great for 23X1 and Tyler. He’s surely on an upswing and I think good things are to come for him next year.

Hate to see Kurt end the way he may though

Not really surprised about Reddick, to be honest. I'm sure there was some sort of deal worked out between RCR and 23XI.

One take I saw said his "source" told him back in July that Dodge wasn't happening because Dodge was focussing more on electrification. I believe that was right around the time that NASCAR announced a possible electric series. Dodge still didn't care. He likened it to Porsche and Indy Car. Porsche wanted some sort of hybrid. Indy obliged. Porsche didn't care. F1 has been running hybrids for a while now though.

    WOW!!!!!

Nascar dropped the hammer again on SHR.
Especially with the crew chief suspension.

What a crock of shit. He didn’t stop or spin or bring out the yellow. He simply slowed his pace. That’s why you have teams! He held his line, didn’t swerve or block. Yet Toyota and Penske were strait parking cars in the last round. This shit is getting so scripted. Pathetic, and I hate ford!

They said it would not effect the round of 8 drivers Sunday night, and Larson has only himself to blame.

Yet they let the 11 damn near stop in front of the 1 earlier in the season. NASCAR is fucked. Someone needs to start a rival series. Problem is NASCAR owns the majority of the tracks.

He fucking should have! As a team you try and get your cars in. You can’t bring out a caution or do something stupid but you can lift and hold your line. Imagine these MF’s listening to the team strategy during an F1 race. There is no rule stating you have to go flat out every lap. And it’s a massive double standard when you let Toyota and Penske park cars in the last segment.

No penalty for this last year.

That's ok, maybe the 41 will appeal and get his points back lol

That incident was actually brought up. Nascar said the difference is, Chace took that situation upon himself, he was not ordered to.

Lol, fair point. He should have dumped the SOB in that race after what the 4 did though.

I see no difference. Fact is they picked and chose how they would enforce it like they always seem to. In each scenario, Driver A artificially manipulated the race so driver B could advance in the playoffs. Either call it or don't, but do it consistently.
