2022 NASCAR THREAD

When you are part of a team that is not something to pride yourself in. Perhaps that is why they have had a fraction of the success of HMS also. I just think there is a huge difference in teamwork and complete dipshit moves! It screams a lack of leadership and vision. And a complete disregard for the investment the manufacture invest in your team. All around just a bad look.
And JGR is all about working together just like all the other teams weather you admit it or not. Hence why you see complete pit crews changing teams and so on. I know you want to believe you pull for the only team who DGAF but you don’t. LOL.

 

How awkward would it be to walk into the shop at JGR on Monday if you are part of the 19 team? Like, I mean you could have two cars in but now you have one and the dudes grandson strait punted you to do it. You have to remember how many employees work on those cars and share responsibilities. This will have some lingering negative effects on JGR. Joe rewarding the brat and moving him up to the premier car will not go over well either. JGR will start to go downhill from here out. Would not surprise me to see TRD start to invest in other teams as well as Toyota has way to many eggs in the JGR basket.

 

Different methodologies. But you won't see JGR guys being ordered to push a teammate (outside of Daytona or Talladega) or hold up another car or to exit the race with an "engine issue" just to help a teammate.

I just don't see TRD going elsewhere. There aren't enough high profile teams willing to switch. Most of them can't seem to weather the storm either. MWR, for example. The others you could argue are no longer in existence because of JGR, but still. About the only way I see JGR no longer being the focus of TRD is if they screw up so badly and 23XI is still looking competitive. But I really don't think TRD cares at all about Ty Gibbs' lack of popularity. They stuck with Kyle Busch as the face of their program through some of the darkest times of his career. Ty Gibbs is certainly headed down that road. But like I said months ago, he'll learn eventually because other guys will teach him. Be it with their lack of respect for him or with their bumper.

 

Could be, I guess we will find out in time.

 

Hell, Joe don't want the 19 going for a championship, since he's leaving JGR after Phoenix. Joe gibbs has turned into a big ole pile of stinky poop.

 

Just sitting here trying to prepare myself for Chase to meltdown tomorrow!
