    Where did you find that $18M number just from JGR? Driver salaries aren't made public.

    That being said, I'm sure you're absolutely right about how much he is commanding. Thing is, his contract is likely going to be the make or break that sets up expectations for future driver contracts across the sport. It's interesting you mention merchandise because you're right that that plays a big role. I went to MIS last year and noticed Kyle Busch was the only driver with his own dedicated merchandise hauler and the lines were just as long as all the other haulers which all served for multiple drivers. That's also not surprising considering he has one of the highest followings among drivers on social media across all platforms.
