    Yes. 5 races in Xfinity and 5 in trucks (used to be 7). I believe there's an exception for people who have been in cup for less than a few years.

    No. He just has to finish 15th or better in each stage. They made them go to the back one year (I believe) and it resulted in all the stage winners basically riding in the back to avoid trouble until the final stage. Thus the 15th or better rule.
