Did the radar sensor on 2022's get moved from the bottom of the grill to the grill emblem? This is throwing a wrench into plans to buy a trd pro grill

Pretty sure that the sensors have always been behind the emblem (except the Pro).

I thought it was in the lower part of the grill, because when shopping for trd pro grill it shows that part cut out and asks if tss garnish is needed

The sensor gets removed from behind the Toyota Emblem on your grill and installed in the lower part of the pro-grill behind the garnish.

    nothing just gas & go
My 2019 OFF ROAD had the sensor behind the emblem (center of grill). I installed the PRO grill that I took off my 2017 that was wreaked, and the sensor worked fine( bottom of grill ). The only issue I had was Toyota said I needed my sensor replaced or recalibrated ( can't remember now ). they proceeded to tell me that they couldn't do it because of me having a Pro grill in an OR. I ask for the manager & politely walked him to the show room where they had a picture of a Sport with a Pro grill That said Make it your Toyota7F840755-47CF-4814-B080-69B345B08053.jpg . and I told him that's where I got the idea from. He said wait here & went to the service department & 30 minutes later it was ready. I have switched grills since then & the sensor works fine in both grills.
