I was given a delivery date of December 3. Of course I believe it will be late but I was told it was in production already. For reference, 2022 TRD sport lunar rock DCSB MT.

Depends what you have on it. I saw 2021 TRD Sports for $36 and some over $40 when I was looking for mine. I saw TRD OR’s between those prices too.

I tried building my 2021 as a 2022, and it's still pretty much the same.

I'm upset there is no Cement color. Makes me not even want a 2022 now.

Lunar Rock would most likely be my first choice if I were building a new Truck. Very unique and nice color.

Lunar Rock looks nice. Wind Chill Pearl looks cool but its hard to find it because it only comes on the TRD Sport, Limited, and Nightshade.

I do like Wind Chill Pearl too. Lunar Rock is the only one I'm really interested in on the TRD OR.

    Oh look, another mod....
I decided to do a mock build for a 2022 (Spec'd out just like my current truck): TRD Off Road, 5ft bed, Auto, with the technology/leather package, and I noticed that the chrome is gone. Maybe Toyota got the hint that customers don't like it?

I love my lunar rock. Go check out the Lunar Rock Third Gen thread where everyone has posted theirs. It still doesn’t do justice until you see it in person and see the difference in color throughout the day.

It is definitely one that you will turn around and look at every time you get out and walk away from it.

Have you seen any in your area?

Cement was my first choice too, but I'm going with Lunar Rock now. It grew on me over the last few months. It has that 70s look which I like.

I was originally trying to get a 2021, exactly the same but cement. Dealer couldn’t locate any on a lot and couldn’t get an allocation, probably for a month or longer. Finally he calls and says he got an allocation for the truck I wanted in lunar rock(which he knew I wanted over cement anyways). In the area I’m in at least, manuals are much harder to come by.

No I haven't seen one in my area. I'm in central Arkansas.

Looks like only black leather or grey/black cloth interiors. Spent a ton of money changing everything to brown in my truck. Not sure why Toyota has never offered more choices on interior. If that build site is correct, even the limited is only black.

Limited options on models = More return on investment because of less labor charges (to install it, create it, etc..) Personally, I would like to see other interior color options: Beige, Gray, Black, Brown. But I get why they do it, I just don't like it.

Yeah I get it but they could charge a premium for upgrades. I'd still do it again if I bought a new truck but I'd much rather buy a set up already done. Took me over a year getting the damn shift/ebrake boots, console and steering wheel cover made and installed with matching leather. Dash mat and floor liners are brown but don't match perfect which the probably would in a factory set up. The time it took was definitely more frustrating than the cost.
