Went in my truck to go to the local Costco. Truck doesn’t start, almost like it ran out of juice. Only has 2983 miles. Only things I have electrical is oem LED lights with harness from Dave, I have raptor lights on with fuse tap but it’s on when the headlights are on and off when headlights are off. I didn’t leave anything on. Truck has no codes etc.

Probably gunna need more info than that. Does it turn over and not fire, not turn over at all, just clicks?

Sorry guys. It barely makes noise as it tries to turn over. If that makes sense. Then nothing and fuel gauges moves back down and as the gauges moves down it clicks.

upon trying again I do hear the fuel pump engage.

If its trying to turn over that makes me think low battery. Anyone around that can give you a jump? Also turn off everything electrical like headlights, radio, HVAC fan etc. save every last bit of power for the starter

I did get a check charging system just now. I thought it would be something I shouldn’t have to worry about for a bit. Someone is coming to give me a jump

Everytime your ignition is on and the engine is off, it will display “check charging system”. Completely normal.

Have the battery load tested ASAP! Dead and dying batteries are known to kill alternators quickly.

Checked with meter with truck off. Battery is at 10 volts. Doesn’t want to start up again.

It will take some time to fully charge if it is that dead.

Being a new truck Id just take it to the dealer. Possibly a bad battery right from the factory.

I had a bad cell at 30 months. Got a free battery from my dealer. Jump start it to get it to your dealer. Any good dealer will not send you on your way if it will not start on their lot.
