Just buy the lift kit, comes with the heritage grille haha

As far as admin fees go you basically always pay them if you're shopping in a bigger city. If a dealer takes the admin off, it's just built into lower back end discount or lower trade value. They always have a bottom line they will sell for and make the numbers work.

I retired in 2007, full of piss and vinegar in the 80’s. I was at the school in 84, when I was 18.

I was STARS Air Ambulance after I retired and occasionally worked out of Winnipeg, we worked a lot with SAR Techs out of our base there. I was with STARS until 2017.

With an increase in aviation safety, the SAR world has really changed, we used to search for missing aircraft weekly, now all the work is out of Comox and the East coast, we the sea rescues.

I watched an interesting TFL truck episode where they did a gas mileage comparison with their sasquatch packaged Bronco vs the current TRD Pro 4RUNNER and the old school 4RUNNER actually got better gas mileage! I’m not convinced the new rigs are any more efficient, the current Tacoma is a good example of newer isn’t better.

Now if they do a heated steering wheel, stock 33’s to compete with Jeep and Bronco, locking front diff that would be awesome! The rest of the interior is just flash/eye candy.

I’ve never been concerned with fuel mileage other wise I’d drive a compact , but a vehicle that doesn’t need to be re geared or tuned to drive right would definitely be a plus.

I hear you there, we all know the drill with thirsty rigs. My comment was just meant to indicate that newer isn't necessarily better, aka the crummy powertrain in the current gen tacoma that isn't much if any more efficient than the previous gen.

Is there some teaser info out on the next gen 4Runner?

You got that right about the current power train , from what I’ve seen the new 4 runner will be built on the new platform / possibly power train out of the Lexus line.
I’m usually hesitant to buy first gens but if I needed a full size I wouldn’t hesitate to order a new Tundra. I think Toyota is going in the right direction with the new platforms and ability to change depending on models . I’m also fighting the urge to by a 2022 4 Runner PRO as the drivetrains are bullet proof and the fact they are made in Japan adds some desire , until you look at what they are selling for.

I'm in the exact boat as you, at this point may as well see what the new 4Runners are like. Then make a call for a 4Runner or wait a bit longer for a 4th Gen Tacoma.

Did you happen to order? I'm looking at a similar build, ORDCSB premium in lunar rock. Like greengs said the only way you can get a heritage grill in Canada is to get the TRD lift. I can't unsee the heritage grill, it's available in the states https://parts.passporttoyota.com/p/...Inner-Front-Grille/97495920/PT2283520020.html
maybe they would ship to Canada?
I don't know if I'm getting ahead of myself, lining up rims, tires, lift, undercoating and haven't even ordered the truck yet! :)

I can 100% confirm Sport premium models do NOT have front facing cameras. The Off Road Premium does though.

You can definitely buy it in Canada. Tacoma town sells it and has free Canada wide shipping for Cyber Monday. There are two different models, pre TSS and post, so make sure you grab the later. Here is the link:

Just picked my new Tacoma up this weekend. I got a 2022 TRD Sport Premium Lunar Rock. I didn’t pay over MRSP and I live on Vancouver Island. This is my very first truck ever and I gotta say I can’t stop smiling while I’m driving it. I didn’t get any upgrades with the dealership or anything, but I did order some floor mats that I did a bunch of research on called TuxMat and they’re the best floor mats I’ve ever seen. (I’ve owned Weather Tech and Huskey, but these TuxMat’s blow those out of the water.)

I just picked up the same truck! My first ever truck. To say I’m excited would be a massive understatement. I’m still waiting for my new wheels, and running boards, but I’ve got a small lift, roof rack and tailgate lock to install in the next couple weeks. Shout out to Cochran Toyota who honoured the great deal I got - $1200 under MSRP plus no $800 doc fee (bc my brother and I did a double deal).
I love what you do for me TOYOTA!

    Check build thread!
This thread just popped up again so I figured I'd offer again- I can get anyone in Ontario an allocation at MSRP. No BS, can't go any lower than MSRP tho. Any allocation you want, but you'll be waiting obviously (normal order time 3-6 months). I don't make money off of this, nor do i currently work for Toyota (ex employee). Just send me a PM.

What are you doing with the stock rims? I’m up in Edmonton but looking for a set for some winter tires.

If this doesn’t work out for you and you’re still looking, I have a set of wheels that came off a 2022 sport brand new. I’m located in SK.

I got a 2021 Sport & got the dealer to install the heritage grille, I saw them cheap on-line but felt better with them installing and calibrating everything. I have no front camera but there is the radar under the garnish that some people had issues with, so it was pricey but worked it into the truck purchase price (alone it was $1100 installed). I absolutely love this truck & hated the original grill, this just looks like it belongs on this truck. p.s. I have a OEM bed divider I'm selling for $150 located in Calgary.
