Not sure I’d be putting down non-refundable deposits, especially with south point. My brother and I pulled our deposits in sept after some questionable tactics. Unfortunately there’s a lot of dealers doing this sort of thing right now so it’s difficult. Crappy time to be a buyer. I picked up my Taco end of Nov and it seems like things are already even worse. My bro picked up his 4Runner on New Years and they made him sign a non-export agreement. If finding a vehicle isn’t hard enough right now some guys are just buying them and shipping them out.

No, but they have army green ETA end of Feb.

 

hi everyone, newbie here - going to be ordering a 22' double cab OFF Road tomorrow. Super excited. ! ETA apparently is 6-8 weeks but I'm sure it'll be longer. Dealer is Markville Toyota.

 

I fixed that problem that we can't get LEDs on our Sports up here! OEM LEDs now makes it look up to date.

 

Isn’t that a crazy expensive upgrade up here?

 

Yes it is crazy we can't order them on a new build, and they only come on a Nightshade Limited or Pro! All those trims were over my budget. So while waiting the 3 months for my 22, I kept searching on Kijiji for a set. Lucked out big time, guy had a set for his 19 Limited but never put them on. Got a the pair heads and fogs and harnesses for less that half of new. Installed them myself, I was nervous though. First mod of many minor tweaks to make it mine. You'll be so glad if and when you update the lights. Cheers

Thanks, was just good timing. But no, the harness I was told he bought it from a TW member on here. Made it all plug and play.

 

I've been thinking of buying the harness from the guy on here,its a quality looking piece, just in case I stumble across a good deal like you did.

If you get that in 6-8 weeks I'm cancelling my order and putting mine in at your dealership Lol. Hope you get yours sooner than later. I'm thinking it's going to get slower down with the vax mandates for truckers. I heard it would be an estimated 4000 drivers from the states that will no longer be able to enter the border. Not sure if the trucks enter the country by rail or by truck but they're definitely coming from the US and/or Mexico (if I'm not mistaken).

Consider yourself somewhat lucky my dealer won't even give me an estimate and I've been dealing with them for over a month.

 

Could be an unspoken for allocation already coming for that dealer

Yeah there is. I worked in fleet before. High volume dealers get an allocation.

Picking up my 22 TRD Sport Premium on Wednesday. Looked at a couple used ones late last summer but for a few grand more made sense to buy new. In October, pretty much everything coming to the dealer was presold. Had 2 that weren't but not the colour or model I wanted. Since a new truck wasn't urgent, decided to order one. Dealer told me to expect a 3-6 month wait. Got a call in November and he said their allocation was increased by a few trucks and one of the one's they were getting was the exact truck I ordered so they slapped my name on it.
