My trust in Toyota as a product is high. The kids are driving 2 Corollas that are 20+ years old. My old Toyota Pickup ran for 199,999 miles before I foolishly
sold it. I suspect my 2021 Tacoma will last a long time with regular maintenance.

I do NOT trust the dealers. Their motivation is profit only. They could care less about customer satisfaction because for every customer they lose there are
three more right behind them wanting the 'product'.

The best advice I'd give anyone regardless of new vehicle they buy is to find a top-notch independent shop and use them exclusively for all services
on day one. Those 'free' oil changes at the dealer are worthless at best and potentially hazardous at worst.

I did this with my wife's new 2017 Forester and I did it with my new 2021 Tacoma. I will never, EVER, let any dealer touch my vehicle. I get to know the
crew at the independent shops, chew the fat with them, and I tip them every time I go in there. They do excellent work for me at reasonable prices and
I sleep very well at night knowing they did the job right the first time, and if anything does come up they will drop everything to take care of the issue.

I roast my own coffee beans. The owner of the shop where I take my Tacoma is a coffee drinker so I used that as a reason to chew the fat. Yesterday I
was driving by so I stopped in and tossed him 1/4 pound of freshly roasted beans.... I toss beans to my dentist and doctors as well.... I tossed some to
my butcher yesterday too, ... they are gonna love this stuff and they are gonna want to keep me happy ( and/or alive ).... it's pennies on the dollar.

Having more loose brake pedal feeling and the e brake handle pulls straight up with no force. Gonna take it in next week to have them do another round of adjustment. Annoying that’s it’s doing it again but not as bad this time. No low power braking light either when pumping brakes thankfully. I was reading and looking around online and there is a procedure for adjusting the rear drums. I might take the wheels off and adjust the slack/distance of rear brakes to the drum. Maybe a few clicks will do the trick. Check the movement of the rear hub before and after with the ebrake off.

It’sa me again! Same issue as before. Even having Les Schwab adjust them, it only lasted for about a few weeks and then went to the same issue as before again. Dropping it off at the dealer again tonight. I wonder if I need new hardware in the back drums…
