Yeah they did a good job with the pro skid. And making a poor man’s pro is what we should strive for - clearly the direction I went

If you're thinking about tires, sell the 18" wheels and pick up a set of 17's.

I'll argue that while the 16 wheel sizes has the best options for hard off roading, the 17s for some reason have both the lowest priced tires and the largest overall selection.

The 18s will never look truly aggressive, and they're expensive.

Edit: also, wheel offset matters. From fuzzy memory the limited wheels share the same +30 offset as the TRD trims (I think, maybe). Get that offset a little closer to 0 for extra aggression.

I wonder what or even if these tires with 250miles would sell for.

Wish I decided when they where unused.

Fair enough. Different strokes for different folks, I buy to use stuff for its intended purpose not for show & glow. Enjoy the project

I don't think it is bad. Some dealers sell them for about $1200. And it keeps your front sensor working and has warranty coverage.

    Check build thread!
Even if you have, who cares? It’s basically exactly what I’ve made. An access cab TRD Pro. Enjoy your truck, how you wanna. I’d love to see an nightshade build for off-road. It would be fuckin sweet!

Only issue with going to crazy on mine is the steps. But the lovely part is they are removed in about 2min with a ratchet!

    Yeah.

I keep a box with all my OEM Parts AINT no way I’m trading it in with aftermarket parts they won’t pay for.

As for the lift though it would probably stay on and add value.

    good point

I agree with @dniskier, just drive the damn thing, and see where you should put your money.

My wife still doesn't know that I got a lift. She thought it was a little higher, but I told her it was just the tires.

Like when my wife said my shirts were getting tight. We agreed they shrunk in the dryer.
I knew they hadn't. This is from the refrigerator.
