What is the purpose of the rollback feature? My driveway is at an incline and my truck rolls backward and the ABS makes noise. What if i'm offroading and i want to maintain my position without rolling backward? I'm kind of reluctant to take my boat out because I might roll back into the lake. I just dont really understand this feature. Can someone explain? Thanks

If you are referring to hill start assist, the purpose is to prevent you from rolling backwards on a hill. Ironically, trucks with a manual transmission, where this is a much bigger problem, don't come with hill start assist. We get clutch start cancel instead, which I never use.

Well, you won't find "hill start assist" on an Off Road or Pro M/T..

    ;)

I believe the Sports come with it, and the OR don’t. Which is confusing why.

My 2017 TRD off-road has the anti-rollback feature. It works great and I like it. Just took some getting used to.
