Just finished wiring mine this weekend. Had to use the green push button switch. Went fine just got a couple of cuts and did a couple of Matrix bending to get a clear view of the fuse box.

Nice job . Still haven’t tackled mine as I’m going the OEM route so have to take steering wheel off and switch out the stalk. Gotta get my courage up hahaha.

My truck is prewired so I want to keep it as OE as possible.

Did you pull the steering wheel off? I was wondering with the steering wheel off method, are halogens required or are oem leds an option? I bought led ones and no light. The indicator light comes on the dash. I checked to see how many volts I was getting at my fog light plugs and it was like 5.5 volts. Idk what I’m doing.

Yes I pulled the steering wheel off to change the light stalk. I effed up though and forgot to tape the airbag clock spring and it unwound. Got some codes cuz of it so have to buy new clock spring and do it all over again.

I called the dealer to make sure they had a spring lock in stock just in case I messed up the clock spring, the parts guys said $700 for a new clock spring. Thankfully everything worked out, I just had a bad connection.

Does anyone know of a video of the OEM parts install for fog lights? I have read the walk through a couple times but would appreciate a video walk through when taking the steering wheel off. TIA

Hey Taco22 doesn’t look like you have OE parts for an OE install. If you have aftermarket light kit the OE install will not work.

You’ll need an OE light stalk if you don’t have the fog light switch on the stalk, you’ll need the OE wiring harness and you’ll need to verify that your truck is pre-wired for the fog lights.
