2022 Tacoma Trail/Pro Wheel Availability/Pricing?

Ah damn man that’s a bummer. I wonder why they told me they’d be getting the rims in/ship them out tomorrow?? I live 60 miles from Peruzzi. Where are you located? I wonder if that had anything to do with it. I’ll call back in the morning so I can get this sorted out.

 

Not too far. Just hop on I-76 til it becomes I-70. Drive for about 1,200 miles and I’m right there.

he was worried about shipping damage and being returned. $240 shipping is $60/wheel so if just one needs returned they’re in the red even though it would fall on the shipping company. No worries it was $31 more from Topeka and sounds like he may have them in stock ready to go. Now to find a shop who won’t charge $200 to change out the wheels.

 

What size tires? This setup looks so good!

 

I ordered complete set of bronze wheels and bronze center caps too, but realized I like the red TRD caps too, for the bit of red accents;so I ordered those too. Here is a mock up for anyone who is interested in knowing how it looks. I think it looks good for a white truck, with red accents, etc.

 

I forgot to ask you did you update your order? Your screenshot shows 1 center cap instead of 4. I ended up going with them too. Let’s see if they have any in stock to ship today or tomorrow.

 

Great catch...I called them and we got it sorted. I did ask about stock, at least in my case he said unfortunately he doesn't have enough to fill the order so they will be backordered. He said he wouldn't have any time frame until Toyota tells him I guess. So we shall see!

 

That’s a big bummer. We will probably receive everything but the wheels. Hope it’s not much of a delay. I am not a big fan of paying $830 and having to wait a month for them to show!

 

My order status from Lewis/Topeka changed yesterday so that’s some forward progress, I guess lol. Only ordered the lug nuts and center caps from there. But two different parts guys at Peruzzi confirmed my order is still in / not cancelled, and assured me the wheels will ship whenever they come in. I guess just because it’s cheaper to ship them to me than you??
I wish I had a timeline though. Gives me time to decide which rubber I want to put on them!

 

Nice. I ordered from Lewis and they’re really helpful when you call in, ask for Brett. They updated my status without a cancellation, so that’s good.

I ordered a few things from peruzzi, and the bad thing with them is they don’t email you anything so calling them is a must.

 

Talked with my local Discount Tire about swapping my tires and stems onto the new wheels and they quoted me $118 for dismounting, mounting and balancing all four. Just FYI

That seems like a great deal! We don't have those places in NJ. Anybody in NJ know a similar place with such high regard as Discount Tire?

Also, for anyone who was following - I ordered the wheels from Peruzzi in Hatfield, PA and ordered the center caps/lug nuts from Lewis in Topeka.

@Hogleg918 I called 3 or 4 times since ordering to make sure the wheels would ship, and they all told me yes! I just called. Ryan, the parts manager (who was very nice) told me they don't ship wheels, as you were informed. I have no idea why everyone else told me it was no problem. Now the sale is over. My only option is to drive the 1:45 each way to pick them up. What are the chances of them mounting/balancing these for me in exchange for the mishap (on their end) and for my travels if I bring my own tires?? lol

 

oh man that’s a bummer. I mean 4 hours round trip and free stale coffee sounds fun to me. I’d ask if they could mount and balance for $50 to make everything right. My independent shop charges me $18/wheel to mount balance so $50 may be worth it to you?

I’m just jealous you are 2 hours away from them. Do they have them in stock? I’m still waiting for a shipment notification from Lewis Toyota.

 

I was told my wheels are there, and that they’ll hold them for 1 month. (But I was also told they’d ship my wheels lol, so who knows). I think I will go pick them up next week. Going to call tomorrow and see if we can work something out for the tires.

No status update from Topeka on the other parts.

 

I’ve been taking any excuse to drive my truck somewhere so I’d do it! Then of course you have to show us pics asap.

 

I feel that! I have to decide on tires and pull the trigger. I know I’m going 265/75 just not sure which ones I want yet.

 

I also ordered the Trail Edition Wheels + bronze center caps about 5 days ago. Status changed on Monday to "received" or something like that. No updates since then, though.

I just got email notification that my wheels shipped. Any luck on your wheels? I ordered center caps separately so hopefully they ship soon too.

also got the matching overlays that arrived today.

 

I saw a video that said these wheels are made by BBS. Can anyone confirm?

 

Awesome! No nothing yet on my end, but that's a good sign. Hopefully mine will ship out next week. Im on a week long work trip anyway so this waiting works out, I won't be at home pacing wondering why they aren't here yet lol.
