2022 Tacoma TRD Off Road Lighting

I'll get bashed for this but is there a harness for the factory LED headlight to use an aftermarket one? There is only one headlight connector for the TRD Off Road model.

 

If you have the factory LED units, you already have the best lights you can put on your truck. Any other light you put on if you could find an adapter would be a large step down in performance.

 

Can you point me in the right direction to get a harness for it, even if its a step down?

 

I am probably that direction
I have made LED to halogen TRD harnesses before. I can make them plug and play, but they still require a grounding. It’s as simple as taking out a small bolt on each side and adding a wire to it, so not hard at all.

 

I see. It seems like alot of work just to run aftermarket headlights. Would the conversion harness on Ebay work?

 

It’s not much work. The ground goes to a factory ground spot, and I ship it with a ring terminal, so it’s ready to go. I was just searching through my old post to see if I have a pic of them, but I didn’t make it back far enough yet. As to an eBay harness: I doubt it. If you are referring to the ones that are all over eBay, those are for converting from halogens to LED, not the other way around.

Curious as to what lights you are planning on switching to. I went from oem halogen to LED and couldn’t be happier.
