Nope, it's still a 3rd gen. Other than the new color, "TRD PRO" stamped into the bed, and the new suspension, it's identical.

Sorry, I'm an idiot - I thought we were speaking Tundra, disregard!

Like I said, I figured we weren’t on the same page! Haha…how do you convert a Tacoma to a Tundra? Would love to see the responses to that question on TW.

I'm about to sell my Wrangler JL and I have my mind set on this TRD Pro in the new green color.

Before I make any mistakes... is there anything I should know? Are their any known issues?

Are there certain dealers that offer better pricing?
Sorry for all the newb questions. I've never owned a single Toyota product before, but this looks like it'll last and checks all the boxes (thanks to the manual trans).

    I have a 21 JLUR manual and a 21 Pro LR manual.

The Pro is much lighter on its feet than my JLUR and more fun to rev, much more responsive steering wise than the Jeep also.

You will miss the back covered cargo area. Yes you can get a bed cover, but trust me, it's nowhere near as convenient as the Jeep.

I put down a deposit for sticker and got my Pro after waiting 6 months. AFAIK at the time I got the Pro sticker was pretty good deal. Though I am sure if you don't live in LA or Bay Area you can find a dealer to take a deposit for sticker and wait 6 months for one.

Oh and while the Pro accumulator is nowhere near as infuriating as the Jeep CDV, get it deleted, and it will drive like very old school clutch vehicle. I was able to finally get the CDV out of the Jeep after suffering through months of irregular and slow clutch bite points.

Does anybody have the part numbers for the 2022 TRD pro wheels (16”) that come on the new pro?
Definitely want a set once they become available.
