I was wondering if the Pro would get a better lift. With the new dealer installed OEM lift availability you could roll off the lot with an SR having more ground clearance than a Pro.

Does gear hunting still exists in 2020-2021+ Tacomas?

I hope this means other companies that make UCAs will come off the price.

I don’t know much about lifting trucks, but why do they lift the front higher then the back?

To level the truck. Reduce the front to rear rake.

Unlikely, the TRD branded control arms will probably be double the price of existing aftermarket options.

Exactly. I'd also like to see higher payload capacity. The Tacoma squats way too easily, I think. Toyota knows that loyalists will buy every single truck they sell, despite the areas in which it's lacking compared to the competition. So why spend the money to make the changes? Toyota is a "cheap" company, in that they recycle parts for years and years before updating them.

Toyota typically buys a third party product, slightly changes the look or adds their logos and puts it on their vehicles. This could be currently made by a brand name 3rd party company.

I fully believe that if a person likes their truck as it came home from the dealership, that's fantastic. But aren't these changes all the kinds of things that if a person cares about them, they're likely to want more/better/different, anyway? The truck might be "better," but it just seems to me that it's not going to make many people any happier than the 2021 version. But I don't know.

Also it's funny. I used to hate the stamped tailgates. Now (with inlays) I kinda like them. But I REALLY like the stamped bed side - to me it looks better than blank, a little better than most custom decals, and much better than factory decals. I'm going to see if anyone does that sort of thing aftermarket, then, never have it done myself because it's probably way too expensive.

I've always liked the Tundra Pro emboss on the bed rather than the badge. Glad they have on the Tacoma now

See. Even Toyota puts the UCA bolts in backwards.

Nice update. Stamp in the rear quarters is a very nice touch. I feel like this color may be one of those that you need to see in person. In the meantime, I'll keep my AG'20 Pro.

Did I read that right, wider wheels? Finally going 16x8!? If they do, I’ll for sure be grabbing the bronze for my taco.

I'm thinking that the 1.5 inches front and 0.5 rear lift is over a stock tacoma. So 0.5 inches lift all round over current pro? Tires still look like 265s.
    Control arm is cool.
I was hoping there would be led tails by now. maybe next year.
Pros are over $60g in cali
New ones gonna be $70g lol
