Good afternoon bud the amps are in. Just to confirm.

I wired cut the plugs off both RCAs on the 200 and 500 wired them together then wired front speaker outputs to the inputs of both amps.

I have to go back through the whole thing. I am getting orange lights on the amps. No sound out the speakers. No one in my area had installed these or I would just pay to have them finish hook up and tune. I am getting aggravated with it.

Hey bud getting no sound from amps. I am getting red PRT lights on both amps and the limiter light coming on. I have checked the voltage to amps both 12v. Amps are in rear compartment driver side out of sun. Inputs are as we discussed from front HU. Any ideas what maybe causing these conditions? I can send you a couple pics or video of the issues. If you were close enough to Jacksonville I would pay you to hook these up. I am close to pulling it all back out.

Can you post a pic with the whole amp setup in it? Just want to be able to look over the wiring before moving on to other troubleshooting steps

Inputs are from front. Green/purple not used. 12v at both amps.

I was going to go back through wiring this weekend. Hate to take everything back apart unless I have to.

    Everything there looks correct

next step would be to pull the head unit and disconnect the output side of your harness where it connects to the factory wiring. Then see if the amps power up correctly. If they seem to work right, there may be a problem with the speaker portion of the wiring

luckily, pulling the head unit only takes about 2 minutes

No, disconnect amp output from factory harness behind the radio

leave the one connected to the radio, and disconnect the other one

You need the part plugged into the radio to make sure your signal is going to the amps

Tired that nothing. I am throwing in the towel. I will pull everything apart this weekend re-run all the wires if that doesn’t work pulling them out all together. Thanks for the help.

It’s going to be something simple we are overlooking.

I think so too. I have nothing planned for the weekend so best to back track it all and start clean. I should be able to tss we check all the wiring without pulling all the door seals and that stuff and just pull amp rack out check all connections wire colors. I will update Monday fingers crossed I can get it right so I can run the tuning set up

Ok a quick update. First I would like to thank @destin_meeks for all the help. Second I apologize to everyone following the post and the confusion because I am an idiot.

I found the issue within 5 mins of taking everything back apart. I found out that I used the green/purple wires in the speed wire instead of the white/grey.

from the radio I was using white/grey going to nothing. Switched wires temporarily connected all speakers to make sure getting sound will run the set up tomorrow and permanently connect everything.

Like I said, it would be something simple. But those are the best problems to have

Yes sir. I used a second 4 pin connector so that I could just on clip the amp rack if needed and it only had green/purple leads so when soldering in I used the same on speedwire just forgot when hooking up at head unit. Man you have help so many people in this group bud you knowledge is amazing

glad to hear you got it figured out.

just remember, greater men have screwed up simpler wiring. it's a perfect reminder that everyone needs to check their work, no matter the experience level.
