2022 Tacomaworld Calendar Submission **Information & BS**

This thread is for BS and discussion...Submission of pictures in this thread will be ignored.

Introducing the fouth annual Tacomaworld calendar!

Once again, I would like to thank @tcBob and all other moderators for helping us make this possible.

We're going to get ready to start rolling out the picture selection process for a 2022 calendar.

Like last year, we will have submittals and voting threads that would allow us to select at least 12 total builds for a 2022 calendar.

Once all 12 vehicles have been selected, the pictures will be watermarked and submitted to @tcBob to create into a calendar we can all enjoy for the 2022 calendar year.

Anyone that would want a calendar would have to purchase them thru @tcBob

Same rules as last year apply:

The calendar will be limited to active members on Tacomaworld or members that have taken the time to create a build thread.

It will be composed of:

three first generation builds
three second generation builds
three third generation builds
three other non Tacoma builds*

*Non Tacoma builds must be - Toyota/Lexus and from an active member on TW(4runner, Land Cruiser, Toyota Truck, Tundra, FJ Cruiser, GX etc) - build thread on TW is not a requirement but at least be an active member!

Each participant is able to post up to two pictures of their build. If a participant has more than one build, he can submit two pictures of each build currently owned.

Submission and voting process will be as follows:

A total of four submission threads will be created for candidates to post their pictures.
These threads will be open for one week.

After the week, all these four threads will be locked for voting - for another week.

Rules of engagement:

1. One picture per post, per participant. If you have two pictures or more than one build, post ONE picture per post. This will make voting easier. No adding a second "just in case" picture.

2. Please, NO BS, chit chat, critiques, etc in submission threads. Use THIS thread for BS, recommendations, chit chat, etc. Do NOT submit pictures in this thread.

3. Refrain from hitting "Like" until submission of all photos have been completed and thread locks. Any "Likes" before the thread is locked will be WIPED CLEAN to allow a fair level of participation for all submissions.

4. You are allowed to do some editing, but don't go crazy.

5. Keep it safe for work. We don't want to see your hot wife in a bikini washing the truck.

6. You will need a high resolution version of your photo for calendar production. If you can't submit a good enough photo, a runner up will take your place. Sorry, we can't have any delays.

7. Please do not post any descriptions during submissions. Just post a picture, simple as that.

8. Everyone has one week to submit a picture and/or vote. Once this process is over, it is over. Too late. No cigar.

9. Tie breakers will be done by moderators - It may or may not be done anonymously

10. Picture with the MOST likes out of ALL submissions will be featured on the cover page of the calendar (IF the print shop is able to do a cover page)

11. Any active member with a Tacomaworld build thread can participate, members submitting non-Tacoma builds must be active on TW.

12. Moderators have all the right to delete submissions and or modify these rules.

13. If one winner has two pictures of the same build in the top three, winner will pick which one will be featured in the calendar. 4th runner up will be allowed to take the 3rd spot. - To be fair to all participants.

14. 2021 and 2020 winning builds are ineligible to participate. If you won last year, but have a DIFFERENT build, you may submit your photo.

15. PHOTOGRAPHERS - If you are a photographer and would like to submit a photo, you must have consent from the individual. There has been cases where the owner of the truck did NOT want his truck featured in a calendar, regardless if the photographer took and OWNED that picture. Please respect their truck, their privacy, their build. The above rules still apply - max two photos per build, must be active member of TW, etc.

16. Discreet watermarks will be allowed, watermarks may be removed due to any required cropping upon final creation of calendar. Please keep this in mind.

17. Let's have fun!

**Think out of the box guys. Picture can include your trailer build, your truck under construction, your truck stuck in mud or flipped over in a ditch, your camping setup.

As long as your build is shown in its entirety - foreground or background, it qualifies**

this should be interesting.

All the "Posers" will come out of the wood work. Although I have to admit there have bee some very nice photo's posted here on TW of Tacoma's in outdoor settings, especially out west. I've already visited each link for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and other Toyota entries. So keep them coming.

 

Voting hasn’t started yet. Timelines going to be crunched potentially from the late start. Waiting on Bob to let me know.

 

not going to put my old beater truck in the voting, Mines just a stock 03 DC with nothing fancy compared to many here on tW. I'll vote later after more pics have been entered.
