I'm interested in this truck. I'm not sure when they'll be available, but I like the looks of it and even the bed storage/cooler things despite them taking up 3/4 of the bed.
I'm also not a millennial, not even close. Over 50.
Anyone else a potential buyer? Btw, I'm not interested in doing the slight lift myself on a plain SR5. The only mod I'm likely to do is Sumo springs to haul my camper.

I think the Trail is a nice truck. I won't be getting one unless Toyota is giving them away.

I think it’s an awesome looking truck and a really good choice. But personally I’m going for a TRD OR instead since price wise they’re so close.

No fog lights on the Trail. It’s an SR5 with an appearance package. No thanks.

I would definitely go for it, the trail Edition seems like a great value.

If I was in the market for a new Taco, the trail would be at the top of my list. The OR would be next, then the SR5. People who think the Trail is just an appearance package haven't been paying attention to the new one.

Also, I would be removing the bed coolers as soon as I got home. Also I'm a fellow old guy.

I would argue it is more of an Off Road lite since it lacks the MTS/CC and fancy brakes of even the OR truck.

It’s pretty cool, but I’d still rather have the TRD OR.

I actually don’t like that the bed room is taken up by storage and a cooler. I would personally stick with the OR if I was buying.

Curious what the Cooler Box and Storage Box are worth? Curious what they could be sold for?

I think the main issue with the Trail is the price compared to an Off Road

I’ve seen the cooler and storage box be sold together on Craigslist for $150 in the Portland area. Was listed for about a week.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
    Nope.
It's interesting, but I just got my '21 TRD OR 10 months ago.
Perhaps I'll consider something like it in 14-15 years when my TRD gets tired.

I still would get my TRD OR, but that Trail Edition is definitely a great value! Especially now that it has a rear locker and is a little more than just an appearance package.

I also like the "new" tires. They're the same tread pattern as the old ones for the Pro and OR but now have larger side lugs. Still can't find them online yet though.
