Can anyone confirm this statement below? I found an article from motor trend that claims the TRD off road comes with a higher stance than the SR5, not as much as the pro but still higher none the less. I ask because Rob Motive just put out a video saying his 22 SR5 rubs with his factory height and 265/75r16 and -10mm off set. I'm currently in the process of buying a 22 Trd off road tacoma and am going to be installing a set of 265/70r17 tires and scs custom ray10's -10mm offset. I just want to be prepared if these are gonna rub on the trd OR or not.

    MotorTrend
"Thanks to the lift, the Tacoma's approach, departure, and breakover angles all improve significantly for most four-wheel-drive models. The caveat, of course, is that TRD Off-Road models already come from the factory with a slight lift (1 inch in front and 0.5 inch in rear), so the gain on these models is less than, say, an SR5 would experience."

They’re gonna rub. -10mm offset looks good, but increases the wheel turning arc by 35mm and that’s enough to rub a good amount unless your going straight on flat road. The SR5 and ORs come with the same coils and leafs and sit at exactly the same height (Motor Trend is incorrect).

It's amazing how these magazine "experts" get things wrong so often.
