Even in 2019, the Pro was hard to find around my city. Local dealer had the only one ... a 2018 still at MSRP.

And IMHO, shame that the Pro doesn't also come with an access cab.

You're a wizard! I'm 6'1 and even with the 10-way seat bottomed out I had maybe 1" of headroom in the premium package I test drove. I have at least 3" in mine, which of course doesn't have the sunroof.

If you read the OPs entire post, the responses, for the majority are answering exactly what he asked for.

I am 5'10" and have cloth seats and Sunroof, headroom isn't too bad.

The wheels are a little lighter on the pro. It has a slightly beefier skid plate and better suspension for off road. Pretty much everything else is cosmetic or available on the OR.

Factual advice: the pro comes in short bed only, so if you need a long bed then I advise you to get the Off Road.

I’m 6’2” and had to go with a OR without a sunroof because my head was touching the ceiling of the cab in the models with them.

A Pro is top of the line. An OR is just an SR5 with a locker.

Which is what I would buy before an OR.

SR5 with a e-locker, beefier rear differential, crawl control, multi-terrain select, better quality Bilstein shocks, some sort of “skid plate”... I’m sure I am still missing stuff.

meanwhile SR5 sport has the scoop.... lol

What I wish i have done is bought a sr5 base model and did the rclt long travel kit for $16,000 . That sir is the ultimate tacoma hands down . For having 40" cooper sst pros , 5.29 regear , and a triple transfer case he is getting about 22 mpg.

Wrong off road gives you multi terrain select and crawl control. Not just rear locker. I personally have used all three only when I needed them specifically. Most of the time I just use my own experience to get through tough spots on trails . If I feel I need to engaged locker I do. If I want better assistance down hill I use crawl control. Multi terrain select depends . Loose rock or moguls I use it and sand or snow no way. I haven't tried it in mud yet . Mud was fun when I was a teenager beating on a old ford ranger or Datsun pickup
