Honestly, we never really concentrate on painting the lug holes all the way to the bottom. We rarely get complaints about that.

The lugs generally cover that up and it's not really too noticable once the wheels are installed.

Many wheels are done the same way.

    LOL. Dave's backkkkkkk.

Thanks Dustin. Was just an observation. Personally I have not seen this on other wheels to be completely honest.

You crack me up. You didn’t get in on the group buy and now you have to live vicariously through us without any of the drawbacks of actually getting the wheels

The group buy?? Lol! I've been having the OEM versions for a little while now... But what's so funny is that y'all are buying aftermarket wheels for a STEAL of a price, yet y'all are acting like they're a set of $3K Volks. It happens so often around here with people thinking that their little $40K Tacoma should be hand built to perfection. Ridiculous.

I hear ya, and I fully understand if that has been your experience. I can't argue with that.

I understand that it is not perfect, but the overall quality of our wheels is very good. We have a great track record.

You guys just had the misfortune of being involved with this new batch that has a couple of production errors, and I think that just makes it seem worse. Which I am very regretful of.

It’s been said before but can’t be understated, Errors and mistakes happen, how a company manages this is what I truly care about and so far Dustin you have been great …. Would not hesitate with future transactions….

Received the wheels today, had issues with the test fit and came here to find I’m behind on some posts haha.

Wheels look great so I’m really not wanting to go through the headache of sending them back. Of those of you that have done some grinding how have you gone about it and how much did you have to take it down. I’d prefer to grind the dust caps over the wheel but want to hear some input on how you all have gone through it to see which may be easier.

    Thanks!

I don't regret my purchase at all. As long as long term they hold up and all that jazz, I think they have a better feature set than the OEM, which is the sizing options and backspacing. So, kudos to FSW, and Dustin you've handled this well.

looking forward to those center caps! LOL ;)

Can someone help me try to make these things fit before I send them back? Do I need to remove the dust caps and take a layer off all the way around?

Check post #340 and #341. I didn’t have to do it personally but it sounds like just grind the dust cap and the wheel a little and try it until it fits.

That is what I did. The dust caps are made of pretty thick metal. I ground all the way around them until they slipped into the wheel easily. I then reinstalled the dust caps and the wheels fit fine.

I used a flat head screw driver and hammer to remove the cap (hammering the screw driver under the dust cover lip) and a big rubber mallet to knock them back on.
