Good looking out! I just created a thread in the Group Buy Section that links back here.

Hopefully that's not against the rules or anything. Lol

I have the 17X7.5 6mm offset TRD Rock warriors (Forged Aluminum and only 24lbs) I would not mind it sticking out a little further just to give space on the inside. On occasion I rub a little on the plastic. On the -10mm 17X8.5 that would move it outward about .5 inch correct? The extra inch (17X7.5 vs 17x8.5) is throwing me off... If .5 is correct, that is more than I want. losing 1lb on he wheel (assuming23lbs) would be great though!

Would the 0mm be about 1/4 inch more outward? Can you confirm the weight also (or did I miss the actual in the thread). If it is less than 24lbs, how is that possible with a larger rim/wheel (or am I misunderstanding 7.5 vs 8.5? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get a sense in my brain how it will look and would really love to lose the pound on each corner.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Usually pushing the wheel outwards will increase rubbing due to increasing the scrub radius. You would make the arch of the wheel articulation increase. It's a fine balance.

Thanks for posting your questions! I will try and answer them the best I can.

So, by going from your 17x7.5, 6mm Offset to our 17x8.5, -10mm Offset
it would give you about 3.5mm more clearance on the inside and would push your wheels outside about 1.1" (28.5mm)

    7x7.5-6mm-vs-17x8.5_-10mm.jpg

By going from your 17x7.5, 6mm Offset to our 17x8.5, 0mm Offset
you would actually lose about 6.5mm clearance on the inside and would still push your wheels outside about .72" (18.5mm)

    7x7.5-6mm-vs-17x8.5-0mm.jpg

I'm not sure if you currently have a Lift or a Level, or what Tire Size you are running, but those would be the deciding factors on whether you will rub with the -10mm or the 0mm Offsets.

As for the weight, those are currently estimated from the last batch of our 2021 Wheels. We are estimating that they will be pretty much the same, plus or minus roughly 1lb. I will have exact weights once I get them in and put them on the scale, but I realize that doesn't help too much right now. The reason it may weigh slightly less than the Rock Warrior wheels could either be because of the Beadlock on the Rock Warrior adding a little extra weight, or it could be that they have a slightly higher max load. With our Flow Forged Wheels, we optimize the max load to allow for the lightest wheel weight possible while still exceeding the gross weight for the vehicle application they are made for. Gross Weight being: the weight of the empty vehicle plus the weight of the maximum payload that the vehicle was designed to carry, including luggage/cargo and passengers.

    I hope this helps! I know it's a lot

I have - 2 lift on the front and 2.5 in the back. I am running 255 / 80 R 17s I also have a cab mount chop and SPC UCAs so I can push the alignment forward if needed. I want to move to 34s if I can keep them at 10 or 10.5 wide, but I have not dug to deep into new tires yet.

Your comments are helpful. Thanks for the info. On a side note, I do load up pretty heavy on our longer trips. So I push pretty close to 1500 lbs counting my dog, my wife and myself. I have updated suspension to accommodate, but I do push max payload when traveling off-road on longer trips. Would this cause me any issues?
