Anybody have any solid Intel on when the 22 Tacoma's will start hitting dealership lots?

My sources tell me they will be available in the 2022 model year. Don't hold me to that though.

I ended up finding a 21 Pro, but was in the market and the dealers I was taking to are now starting to let me know of incoming 22's (off-roads) that will be on their lots working a month or so. So some are incoming.

The 22 models are confusing me, because it seems like you can't even spec a 22 Pro on the Toyota website in my area when my zip is plugged in. Basically that made me just on what I got, I though New England area might get poor allocation.

    Oh look, another mod....
My source tells me (And my source is my sister's-husband's-cousins-coworkers-excollege roomate's-friend...a very reliable source) They said the exact day when you'll see them is November 20th.

I could be off by one day though. So don't quote me!

That's about the way it's trending.
OP, there's a good chance any intel you get is booshit, I don't think the manufacturers know at this point.

I'll get back to work now, it's exhausting explaining to customers (that apparently have no idea there's global shortages across nearly all markets) no they can't come pickup their order today, and no I can't expedite it, and yes you'll be lucky to get it 2-3 weeks, if not 2-6 months. Rant not directed at OP.

Good news all. I got an email from my dealer last night that he has an allocation date of 10/12 for a Blue Crush 22 Sport Double cab. I'm not getting the Premium package but it wasn't a deal breaker. Hope to have it in November I guess.

I have a 21 that was built 9/20, and I purchased it on 10/20/20 as one of the first 21s to hit the lots. I’m assuming it’ll be similar for the 22s. Late October

Toyota's site is funky with pro builds, only will let you do it in certain zip codes. I belive the pro models are being pushed out regionally based. Try a dallas zip and it should work. Color availability of what is stocked/OOS on pro's differ between zip codes ive seen too which is weird.

I'm in the market for a 22 trail edition and the dealers in the southeast have not got msrp/allocations yet on these or Pro's. All the other models you can put an allocation in for they said, suspect trucks will start landing in the next month or so.

The magazine articles said Pro's and Trail Edition's would not start to hit the dealerships until November.

Went to the dealership today for some paperwork and for them to look over the trade-in. Dealer told me it’s probably going to be 3 weeks for the SR5 to come in, but not to be disappointed if it’s a little longer. I was given a choice of 3 they had allocated and given 2 hours to choose.

Just placed my order and opted for European delivery to get an extra $2500 off MSRP. Can’t wait to drive it on the autobahn!
