Just for you… plus 20cm wider. According to Alonso Center line won’t help.

Wider grid box makes sense, line down the middle is just dumb.

Solution - do away with tire warmers - the race starts without a parade lap and as soon as the mechanics are off the grid.

It’s still all dumb. Alonso lost control while heating up his tires trying to gain an advantage so he was penalized. Should be as simple as that.

Tire warmers will be discontinued in 2024.

After watching FP1 I’d say they need 3 practice sessions.

The rules are the race at this point. Whomever breaks the least amount of rules, wins!

Whoever can break the rules and talk themselves out of it gets podiums at this point

After watching both practice sessions I think Alonzo is going to win on Sunday.

the rule as written always specified no touching the car , but teams had an informal agreement the front jack could touch the car as a way to give the driver a target to line up centred in the grid box . This agreement was never a revision to the rule as stated and because it was never specified , this was the basis of Aston Martin's appeal of Alonso's penalty . They showed video evidence of multiple teams contacting the car with a jack without being penalized

it makes sense to me that they clarify the rule so there is no more confusion or stupid penalties and appeal drama but I'm not sure why its a big deal to have the jack touch the car if its not lifting the car
