Man Checo isn't doing himself any favors. Really could have made that less terrible on himself if he wasn't trying to prove everything in the first corner.

Good race though. Heroic drive from Lando.

He's his own worst enemy. You don't close the door going 3 wide in a corner. He even admitted he messed up.

Way to go Lando, if he hadn't pitted under the yellow flag and if he hadn't messed the restart he could have been on the podium. Some killer overtakes that could have ended up bad thankfully didn't.

As usual Yuki didn't disappoint

Getting Ferrari is unlikely but he may be able to get 4th for himself :burnrubber:

That was seriously shitty timing for Lando's race. Definitely could have been P3 if it wasn't for that. Still, a great race for him. Oscar did alright too, considering Yuki nearly took him out...

And if he hadn't messed up in quali he wouldn't have been in that situation at all. But I agree, heroic recovery drive -- twice even.

No comment on Alonso other than to note that his luck continues.

When the alpine piastri drama unfolded I came to the conclusion that he was just a little stuck up asshole. Seems I was wrong. The way he handles drama and adversity is something to admire. I've become a fan.

Looks like possible hydraulic failure/gearbox failure. Rear locked up and sent him spinning on the formation lap.

    Hahahaha that’s hilarious

    Again at his expense

Logan had such a shot at 10th. Six cars cut it short and two others were a lap down.

Alonso still has the most raw desire to win out of any of the drivers on the grid

And WOW did he show it on the last lap. His mastery of the complexities of today's F1 car was on full display as well during that last stint. The way he used every tool available to keep Checo at bay was legendary.

Brazil almost always provides a great race and this year was no exception.

Excellent Brazil GP as always. Fernando might not have the most wins or championships of all time but he's putting up a fight to be near the top of that list, or at least his driving yesterday made it feel that way. Goddamn hero.
