I wonder how long the 23 circus will continue to show up week after week? The 10 should have swung instead of shoved

Yet he never once mentioned being hit in the rear during his "explanation." "Once you hit the wall in these things, you can't drive them anymore." Said twice. I wonder what telemetry data says.

It also looks to me like the 6 doesn't get into the 9 until after the 9 began his turn. But, that being said, I'm still looking for a replay from the angle in your post to see a better angle.

It comes down to this. Chase has to win to get in and he did not have the car to do it. Chances are he won't next week and he is betting he will win a road course. He might as well take the opportunity to send a message that he is not gong to get used up by these guys week in and week out. Denny has chosen to join the drivers who use people up and Chase reminded him that if you do that you might find yourself head on in the wall at 180MPH. Bottom line, NASCAR needs Chase more than Chase needs NASCAR currently. The data proved that when he was out.
It would be extremely out of character for Chase to hook someone and he might not have, one thing is for sure. He is sick of getting run over lap after lap, Mr. H is sick of his drivers getting run over and Denny will think twice next time he runs Chase up into the wall. Chase had nothing to lose here.
If this happened to Ross then we would not have him doing what he is doing. It is never okay to hook someone and it looks like Chase more than likely did but the 6 did get into him and his tow-link might have been fucked from the first contact with the wall too. The back of the car is extremely light in that area also. Denny just likes to bitch and thinks everyone on the track owes him something. You get what you give.

I agree with most of this. But I don't think he necessarily has to win and get in. Currently he's only 81 points out. While that is a lot, it isn't insurmountable given he has quality equipment and 12 races left to gain points. Boneheaded moves like that, assuming it to be intentional, are a sure fire way to not gain any of those points.

That being said, road courses are coming and we all know how Chase is at those. I fully believe he'll be in the playoffs.

True, I just don't think Chase cares at all about pointing in. He either wins or does not make it. The 9 is a little off right now but he will get on a roll at some point.

I am not sure why these veteran drivers are using each other up so much and not taking what the car give them early in races. That is what makes no sense. No reason why Denny was running Chase into the wall every lap. Other than the 11 just being a dick.

    The bad:
I like Chase (was a fan of Bill as well) and Denny has been really getting on my nerves lately, but the telemetry seems to be showing that Chase hooked him. Been over that video as dozen times and he was already turning left before Brad got to him (a lot of Chase fans showing that single frame). Denny did indeed run him up close to the fence but again as video shows he was out of the gas and probably trying to keep from walling him. Chase said all the right things post incident and I doubt there will be any penalties coming from NA$CAR. Just my observations.
    The good:
    Well done Ryan Blaney.

I agree that Chase probably hooked him. I cannot condone that but Chase has had a problem of not standing up for himself or his team and he gets very little respect for what he has achieved. I think he is over it. And that is starting to show. Chase knows, Denny knows! And that is what matters. And yes, kudos to RB! Probably the most stand up guy in the sport.
If Chase did hook him, he played it correctly for the best outcome for himself to deal with the fallout. And Denny will remember that hit for some time. Chase also did it to turn the car head on in the trioval and not to where the rear of the car would come around. That was going to be head on or drivers side. It is never right but if you are going to do it. That's how its done.
