Surprised to see JHN in the 42 already given that they're still a Chevrolet team. Although I suppose they're not really getting much Chevrolet support at this point.

I think he needs seat time in the NextGen Car under competition laps.

I do agree with you though. I think Carson did a great job in the 42 and they should have let him finish the season

This is going to ruffle some feathers…. With just two races now left in Harvick’s career he will forever be behind Kyle Bush in wins.

I saw on a recent Stapleton42 video that the entire car wrap weighs 7#. He did a 2-hour walkthrough at the Wood Brothers Shop*. I'm headed to the shop next Monday Am and I'm excited to finally visit that shop.

That should be a great tour!
About 10 years ago I was told about 12-13 pounds. Im sure they have advanced that tech like everything else.
I was pretty cool to watch. It was perfect when finished. I would have had it sideways and full of air bubbles.

I know the wraps make prep a lot easier. I miss the old days of teams (or tracks) having dedicated paint guys who worked late into the night to prep the cars between qualifying scrapes and race day. I know some old guys who did this into the late 1990s.

I think HMS still does actual paint on some of their schemes.

JGR does weekly wrap videos and they make it look so easy. I'd probably get the bubbles out but have a lot of wrinkles.

Yeah, I always marvel at how easy they make it look. I have the WORST luck with anything adhesive. I need to wrap the dash on my boat but I'm intimidated by all the contours.
