Harvick fell asleep and pushed the 45 in the corner and dropped his favorite line of “I don’t even know if I hit him” and the 45 got into the 12 and Fox thought it best to play 72 commercials during that period.

Always such a disappointing way to end the race, but dems the rules. I was looking forward to seeing how the 8 and 22 were going to play, although it wouldn't have happened if they restarted.

It would of been a better finish if the 99 didn’t bring out the caution with two laps to go.

Pretty boring race until the last third or so to me. Hated it came down to a wreck like that but at least racing is back for the year. Watched the trucks and Xfinity too. Overall a pretty decent weekend.

My 2 cent nitpick is the Fox production quality. I’ve worked in TV, still work in media production and was surprised at how many mistakes there was. Bad camera cuts, reporters not being cued right, and the a/v sync in the new driver’s eye cam was atrocious. Must’ve been 5 or more seconds off. I get it’s the first weekend of the season and realize mistakes will happen but to me this was just embarrassing.

Let's also not forget things such as all the commercials (I get it was a nationally televised race, but it seemed like it was always on commercials when I'd try to check in). Or going Fox side-by-side during caution instead of during action.

Fox definitely has some issues, but I'll take them any day over NBC, who can't even handle a basic ticker correctly.

After they fuel the cars during the race they bring the cans back to us to refill.
At this track we have two tanker set ups.

I didn't need to see the 5 wrecked LOL, I had things to do so I left after Segment two was over. I didn't get to see the rest of the race.

I only caught the first and last 30-laps but it was so bad I couldn't watch. About 15 years ago they started doing 5-second cuts and now it's down to 3-4 second cuts. my brain can't even process what I'm looking at before the next shot, leaving me mentally exhausted. I watch fewer and fewer races each year. Folks complain about the racing and honestly the racing is mostly fine, but it's the TV presentation that consistently damages the final product for most viewers. I can't stress enough how much better it is to attend in person. Even a dull Daytona 500 is a spectacle in person. There's something about being in the presence of those Cup cars as they warm up for the green flag that no other racing series can touch.
