    The only driver more bland than Chase is William Byron. This isn't entirely bad, they mostly keep their noses clean on track and in the media.

    As a good ol' boy from Georgia and a NASCAR fan, I just cannot identify with Chase Elliott in any way. He's a young, golf-playing, multi-millionaire who essentially works in the family business started by his grandfather, who flies in his private plane to hang out with his friends. I pass by the family lake house all the time when I'm grinding away at work. My working-class life experience and his rich kid lifestyle are diametrically opposed. He's not the type I'd have a beer with if you know what I mean. We would not be seen in the same sorts of bars anyway (though I know he and Blaney have been known to come into town to catch a concert and college girls).

    Good moves in Trucks. Thorsport did well for Christian Eckes under Toyota and hopefully Hallie will continue to mature in trucks. She's good for the sport and seems to be liked.

    I thought it was interesting that Eckes will be in the 19 with the JGR font. I thought that Toyota would have claim to that at the very least.
